Turning is an industrial production process obtained by swarf removal. It is defined by a rotary motion of the piece and a mostly straight motion of the tool. The cutting edge of the tool penetrates the material of the piece and detaches the excess part thus forming a chip.
To carry out these processes Meccanica Marcato is equipped with a department with numerical control (CNC) turning centers with fixed head and sliding head of the most advanced technology, with bar passage up to 36 mm.
